What to expect
During your first session, you will be coached in the proper hand positioning for the TAT pose, this is a self-applied acupressure protocol that is very easy to learn. I generally work over the phone and will email you pictures with detailed instructions in advance. At the beginning of each session, we will discuss the belief, habit or craving that has been bothering you. Then I will guide you through the ten steps of TAT. We will go through each step in turn until you feel a sense of peace or relaxation. 95% of clients report the feeling that "a weight has been lifted" or being able to "breath more freely." TAT for weight loss
Each particular food craving needs only one session. Once you have eliminated your most troubling cravings, I will work with you on improving your body esteem so that you feel comfortable with your body as you loose weight. Eventually you will learn to practice TAT on your own as a stress reduction technique and will be able to perform a self-applied TAT session in as little as 15 minutes each day.
TAT for anxiety, phobias and traumas
A particular phobia or traumatic memory can generally be cleared up in only one session. I will verify this by asking you questions about the issue and checking your reaction at the end of the session. You should expect to feel a dramatic reduction in the emotional charge. Some clients report that after the session, they feel completely at peace. However, many long standing issues are multilayered and may require several sessions before they can be completely resolved.
