I teach yoga at the YMCA in Cedar Park on Thursday nights at 6:30pm.  This class is free for members.  If you aren’t a member of the YMCA the drop in rate is $8.00.

What kind of yoga do I teach?  Good question.

First off the word “yoga” is short for Hatha Yoga.  What I teach is a combination of B.K.S Iyengar Style Hatha yoga which emphasizes structural alignment and flow yoga which is a graceful movement from one yoga pose to the next guided by the breath.    My class is appropriate for beginner and intermediate students.  Each Thursday I focus on poses (or Asanas) the emphasize strength, balance, flexibility and total body awareness in a relaxed, sometimes even playful, environment.

If you are new to yoga you should try many different styles of yoga to find the right one for you.
